The work still to be done on the south side.

Many parishioners and friends have been generously donating towards our roof fund.

At the present time we have $65,000 given with the promise of possibly an additional $15,000.

In order to finish our roof project this year, we still need approximately $45,000 more. The last stage of the roof project will cost $120,000 to $125,000.

We all need to pray because unfortunately the longer we wait, the more expensive it will become.

Since there were some materials on site that we did not use during the North Side work, we will be using them when we do the South side of the church. The decision had been made to purchase those materials then and avoid the inevitable price increase that we would incur in the future.

Shingles - $5000. This would gives us approximately half of the shingles needed to do the South roof. The price of the shingles had already risen $43 a bundle since we purchased them the year before work started on the North side.
